Membership

Initiate - Upon joining Fallen Order, initiate basis is a trial period to determine if you are able to meet attendance requirements, play your class well, and have a good attitude. During this time period, you may or may not be able to join each raid/event. You may not get items unless all members in that class or that can use it either don’t need it or want it, but will earn Points and attendance. It is likely that you will obtain gear from older instances, which may no longer be mandatory for the entire guild to attend.

Member - Once you become a member we have observed that you are a very well maintained character, have a lot of interest in PvE end game success, and contribute to our team in a positive manner. It means that you have proven yourself as a player, and are willing to work hard and do anything it takes to accomplish our guild's goals. In addition, you are ready to experience advanced level instances and be a part of our family in every way.

Elder/Veteran - Members, who come to nearly every single raid/event, consistently contribute positively to our team, and fulfill all "member" status roles as well. Elders are sometimes asked to lead raids or groups in smaller instances. Long term, proven members who consistently follow the guild rules and lead by example. The Elder position will not be given after any specific period of time, and is based on outstanding performance and contribution to the team in a variety of ways.

Level Group Lead/Class leads – Member who has shown the level of responsibility and leadership skills required to lead Fallen Order groups for his or her level. Please refer to MEMBER for details on what is required for this position.

Officer- The officers of Fallen Order have been chosen based on maturity, dedication, and strong intellectual input toward the guild's goals. Each officer is here for you to speak openly with and helps make decisions, which affect the entire guild. The officers deal with all guild policies, both internal and external. DKP, decisions about the direction of the guild, strategies, and many other topics are handled through the officers. More on what you can expect from the officers is detailed below.

Leader - They will ask officer, Elders, member, and initiate input on ideas, but ultimately make the final call on all matters brought to their attention. The leader reserves the right to veto any ideas, but will usually work with the officers to find the best solution for any given situation. All actions made by the leader are to help the overall success of the guild.

Alternate - Any character other than your main. Points are shared between your alt and main character, however, alts are only allowed on instances pre-determined by the leaders of Fallen Order.

Ex-members - Any ex-members of Fallen Order may re-apply for re-entry to the guild unless they were removed for unacceptable reasons or behaviors. If you have left or been removed from Fallen Order, we will respect you as an individual and not publicly announce your reasons for removal. All guild matters of this nature brought up on the site are contained in the "Fallen Order only" section.

Raiding guidelines /Member Responsibilities

Raid/Event slots are not guaranteed. Officers may, at times, need to remove people from a raid due to gear or class balance issues.
Mains get priority over Alts for loot. No exceptions.

We discourage sharing of accounts. If its not you playing your character, you're not eligible for points or drops.

Ventrilo (Mandatory with microphone)

If you have children, a headset is recommended, as Ventrilo is Rated R.
Speak in short intervals during raids unless explaining things to the entire group. This allows others to speak when needed.
No singing or music on Ventrilo during raids please.

If you have a suggestion about the raid, please send a tell to the raid leader, however, strategy ideas should be discussed before the raid, in order to prepare the entire team better.  Communication during raids is very important to the success of the raid. These guidelines are helpful to make the raid more enjoyable for all players. Adhering to these guidelines will produce consistent, successful raids and adventures.

Forum Conduct - Our guild site forums have no rules of conduct, however, any forum posted in a general section which the officers feel should not be there, can be and will be moved to the "Fallen Order only" section. Any other forums on other guild sites, or general Warhammer, WOW,AOC or Vanguard forums should be kept clean and courteous, as you never know who may be judging or viewing your comments.

Gaming Conduct - All Fallen Order members have been chosen based on a general level of maturity during the recruiting process. We expect that in game you do not use foul language excessively and abide by all general rules of conduct. Be respectful of all others playing the game, and don’t be afraid to use an ignore command when a person gets out of hand. Griefing, taunting other players, or verbally abusing other characters is not acceptable, and may be cause for your removal from the guild.

Website - You are expected to check the website daily for any news or updates. Please read anything new in "Fallen Order only" section. All members should read all posts in this section. After reading the initial posts, keeping up with new posts each day should only take about five minutes of your time. All other forums can be read at your leisure.

The website is updated by Darkomen right now, if you see anything out of date, please don't hesitate to ask for an update, or fill out a feedback form. We try to keep everything as updated as possible whenever a change is made. Sometimes, a newer post may counter an older post and we may direct you to the more recent post to clear up any questions.

Recruiting - If you have a friend interested in Fallen Order, or if someone asks about how to join us, just direct them to the website. We've become such a tight group that friends of guildmates are most likely to be considered first, however all applicants are treated equally.

Promotion Within Fallen Order - Promotions in Fallen Order may seem random, as they aren't made based on specific time spent in the guild. We promote if and when necessary, and usually all the officers ok the promotions before the leader makes any changes.

Promotion Outside Fallen Order - The leaders of Fallen Order are the only people who should be promoting the guild name if and when needed (for example: list of guilds on general public forum may have our name and website on it from an officer post). No other promotion of the guild is necessary or required, although your kind helping hands in game have always been a generous promotion for us, and this is most likely why we are never short on recruits. Your name, personal status, and level of kindness to others is a different kind of natural guild promotion which we've always valued from our awesome team.

Demotion Within Fallen Order - There has never been a need to demote members, as you earn your status within the guild and maintain it by being yourself and doing what you've always done. The only demotion is the ultimate demotion of being guild removed, which may occur for multiple reasons, and it's not limited to any single reason. The choice of removing a member from our team is not taken lightly, nor will it ever be hastily decided. All officers have say in matters of this nature, and any and all questions should be directed to one of them.

Demotion Outside Fallen Order - A public conflict or anything negative about the guild (or members) in other areas should be directed to an officer upon discovery. The officers will handle the matter(s) and attempt to clear up any problems or conflicts as soon as possible. Anything negative to our reputation, or any of our members would qualify as something to bring up to the officers, please don't hesitate to do so.

Public forum matters - Anything posted on the general Warhammer, WOW, AOC or Vanguard forums that negatively impact our name or a member should be brought up to the officers who will respond on the forums about the matter.

Private forum matters - Anything posted on our forums negatively reflecting our guild or members would always be moved to the "Fallen Order only" forums, as our guild business stays within the guild. We handle all matters the same, observing both sides or matters and trying to be fair to all parties involved. Any questions or unresolved conflicts should be brought up to the officers, not brought up on the forums to discuss. We'd like to answer all questions and address any concerns before the matter is brought to other's attention and clarify any misunderstandings in game. You may talk to any of the officers before posting on the forums. But please, don't hold back your ideas on the forums as they are here for us to help each other and communicate better.

Website moderators - The website is moderated by the officers, who are each able to change the guild site. Each class has its own forum to discuss items, talents, tools, tips, etc. Only your class can view this forum (with exclusion to the five officers, who can view and edit all forums).

Questions and Answers - Communication is a huge way to "make or break" a guild. If there is any question you think of, please ask an officer at any time. Our job is to make sure you understand if, when, and why we do things whichever way we do them.

Suggestions About Guild Matters - If you have any suggestions about the guild, or how we do things or why, please talk to the leader.

Friendship

Friendships/Cliques - Fallen Order is one huge guild of friends. If you have new friends joining the guild, the best way for them to get to know people and become a part of the action is hopping on ventrilo and interacting there. Guild chat is usually pretty quiet because everyone hangs out on ventrilo all day.
Cliques have never been a bad issue in Fallen Order, if the situation ever arises where people are "excluded" from the group, we will address the situation and correct as needed.

PVE/PVP Rules- All Fallen Order members are required to follow the general rules of conduct in all games we play, whether PVE or PVP.  Any Fallen Order member reported for griefing, taunting other players, or verbally abusing other characters is not acceptable, and may be cause for your removal from the guild.

ALL RULES LISTED ABOVE ARE DEPENDENT ON THE GAME MACANICS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE READ GUILD RULES FOR THE GAME YOU ARE PLAYING WITH FALLEN ORDER FOR ALL UPDATES TO THE CHARTER.
